George Junkin genealogical notes, 1936 [manuscript].

Volume, ca. 25 p., called "Allied Families, Progenators, and Descendents of Rev. George Junkin, D.D., L.L.D.," compiled by Junkin's great-grandson, George Junkin, in 1936. Records document family members beginning in 1790 and continuing into the 1930s. Rev. Junkin was based in Pennsylvania; family members were scattered chiefly around the United States, but also in other countries.

Born in 1790 near Carlisle, Pennsylvania George Junkin graduated from Jefferson College in 1813. He entered the Theological Seminary of the Associate Reformed Church in New York City and was licensed to preach by the Presbytery of Monongahela in 1816. Junkin was ordained by the Presbytery of Philadelphia in 1818. He served as pastor of the Associated Reformed Church of Milton, Pennsylvania from 1819 to 1822.
